Sampler Café was an initiative started by locals Matthew Wood and Brett Mckenzie in January of 2016 as a way to facilitate the development of Edmonton’s electronic music production community. Matthew and Brett have both worked serving Edmonton’s music, youth services and hip hop communities in various capacities since the early 2000’s, including providing DJ and music production services and working to build the skills to create equal and sustainable opportunities for all. Come to the Be Your Own Busker area and take part in an electronic drum circle – all ages welcome.
