Dear StreetFest Family, Friends and Fans,
Happy 2019! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season filled with family, friends and laughter.
2019 is a special year for Edmonton Street Performers Festival – it’s our 35th Anniversary! That’s right, we’ve had the privilege of making Edmontonians laugh for 35 years. Leading up to the Festival, we’ll be sharing some of our favourite StreetFest memories – so stay tuned!
Speaking of the Festival, we have a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
Due to ongoing LRT construction and other projects on Sir Winston Churchill Square, we will officially be back in Dr. Wilbert McIntyre Park (Gazebo Park, 8303 104 Street) for the 2019 Festival. We’re pleased to announce we will be running for 10 days, July 5-14, 2019.
We’d like to thank the City of Edmonton and the Civic events staff for their continued support as well as the Old Strathcona Business Association and neighbourhood for welcoming us back.
“It’s a special year for us, we’re celebrating 35 years as the first and largest Street Performers Festival of its kind in North America. With all the support we’ve received from the City of Edmonton already, I know this year will be a success for our 10-day StreetFest in McIntyre Park!“
– Shelley Switzer, Artistic Producer
